RE Request for information records via the FOI act Background: I previously requested access to some records from the BCMS system connected to a commencement notice in Co. Louth by contacting Louth County Council building control department. They indicated that they could not share any documents and therefore, unlike accessible planning submissions, there is no method for the public to view building control submissions, other than by making a FOI request. For your information other Councils have accepted this type of FOI request already. I am happy to receive the information electronically and do not wish your office to have to print anything or to take time searching through records for specific information. My request is intended to be simple and can be summarised as follows: Source of information: ref CN0113361LH Commencement date Monday 22 April 2024 Owner name James O'Callaghan Address of development: Walterstown, Castlebellingham, Co. Louth Planning permission: E10Bon: 191054 (all of the above is from a public record) Information sought: All general arrangement plans, specifications, calculations etc. submitted as part of the commencement notice. Other incidental information such as emails, cover letters, memos etc are not requested and all names can be redacted if you like. This request is simply a request of technical information and not of anything personal. I am not asking for any printing, or effort to account for large format drawings etc other than ask that the file size integrity of the original drawings is retained, otherwise the content will be difficult to see within a reduced file size pdf. For instance in the past I received pdfs based on A4 printouts of the BCMS file which in effect meant I was looking at thumbnail images of a detailed drawing that were submitted, as opposed to the actual large format drawings. Please use this email as the method of delivery.
