I request the following under the Freedom of Information Act 2014 Background to request :In 2007, ESB made a planning application to divert a section of the Dallow-Portlaoise- Shannonbridge 110kV transmission line in the townlands of Knockmay & Clonrooske Little in Portlaoise (hereafter “the diversion”). This planning application stated that the diversion was required to facilitate the development of office buildings and associated facilities by the OPW. The application documentation includes a letter fo consent from the OPW to the making of the application. Planning permission was granted and the diversion was carried out. Request: 1. The OPW are preparing a Masterplan for state owned lands at Knockmay, IDA Business Park. The strategic Masterplan includes proposed uses such as: - Office accommodation with support facilities for various government and public service departments; - Warehouse accommodation for state file storage; - A vehicle testing centre. The change in zoning from Industrial to Enterprise and Employment is welcomed and will assist the OPW to deliver key government and public services on a strategically located site in the future Under the Freedom of Information Act 2014 I am requesting to know any further information that is contained in the 'masterplan' for the IDA Business Park. I understand that the plan may not be finalised yet but if these points have been given as a summary, are there more plans for the business park available at this point?
