I request the following under the Freedom of Information Act 2014 Background to request :In 2007, ESB made a planning application to divert a section of the Dallow-Portlaoise- Shannonbridge 110kV transmission line in the townlands of Knockmay & Clonrooske Little in Portlaoise (hereafter “the diversion”). This planning application stated that the diversion was required to facilitate the development of office buildings and associated facilities by the OPW. The application documentation includes a letter fo consent from the OPW to the making of the application. Planning permission was granted and the diversion was carried out. Request: 1. Records of correspondence between the OPW and ESB/ESBI and/or Eirgrid in relation to the diversion. 2. Records describing the cost of the diversion and the basis/stages by which this was paid.
