We are applying to request information regarding contracted works carried out by Eir (formally Eircom) between the years 2010 and 2016 on Pairc na hAbhainn Estate. We wish to request clarification on the no. of telephone and internet lines laid into Pairc na hAbhainn for the 62 houses established on the site since 2008. 1. We would like to know exactly how many lines were laid originally for the estate. 2. We would like to know whom made the decision to lay lines for only a limited number of houses and why only that number and not all the houses on the estate. 3. We would like to know what exactly Eir has done on the estate in recent months to cause the less of internet speed to the houses impacted. 4. We request to be informed of what plans are in place to rectify the issue being experienced by customers on the estate and what deadline they are operating to.

In spring of this year (2016) GCC Housing Department Engineer confirmed that requested work – painting of a wall in the estate – would be carried out once the weather improved. We are requesting 1. Documentation demonstrating that the GCC Housing Dept had made enquires with contractors. 2. Any quotations or documentation of bids submitted by contractors. 3. Any documentation that shows the decision or selection process used to choose which contractor to hire for the work. 4. The bill of works or contracts signed between the contractor and GCC housing department. 5. The guidelines for when work was to be carried out, including any evidence of a deadline date.

As a condition (9d) of the Terms of Transfer signed by all homeowners on the estate when purchasing their properties from the GCC housing department it would be the responsibility of the GCC Housing dept to vet and hire the landscaping contractor on behalf of the residents. The condition also stated a payment deadline date of 31st January of each year must be met by all residents. 1. Documentation demonstrating that the GCC Housing Dept had made enquires with contractors. 2. Any quotations or documentation of bids submitted by contractors. 3. Any documentation that shows the decision or selection process used to choose which contractor to hire for the work. 4. The bill of works or contracts signed between the contractor and GCC housing department. The residents would like to receive this information in time to meet the payment deadline date and allow for any editations to the Bill of Works needed in order to adequately meet the needs of the estate.

This is needed for inclusion in an Appropriate Assessment (AA) as requested by the Planning Section on foot of an application for planning permission

We are writing on behalf of our client X. We enclose a signed consent confirming our authority to act. We refer to your letter dated 24th April 2017 that confirmed that following a request for a copy of the housing and homelessness records made under the Freedom of Information Act 2014, a decision was made to grant access to the records requested. A copy of the documents requested was attached. We are now in receipt of those records from our client. We write to request clarification as to whether or not any documents were not granted and the reason for any decision not to grant, and to request where possible a schedule of records, which was not provided with the attached records. We also write to make a further request for a copy of housing and homelessness records for the period 24th April 2017 to date, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act 2014 and request a copy of the records only.

The number of properties in your council district in which tenants received payments under the HAP and RAS schemes on Dec 31 of 2016 or closest approximate date in Dec 2016? 2. The number of these properties on that date in Dec 2016 which were inspected at any point in 2014, 2015 or 2016 by the council? 3. The number of these properties on that date in December 2016 which were never inspected by the council at any point in 2014, 2015 or 2016? 4. The number of these properties which were inspected and found to be non-compliant with standards in 2014, 2015 or 2016 but continued to be the subject of rent support payments under the HAP and RAS schemes on that date in December 2016? Where possible, please provide records in an electronic format. In such cases where redactions are necessary, please delete the information, with a reference to the deletion, in order that the records can be communicated in an electronic format.
