1 I request historic contemporaneous records that will show the profits for school transport which means I need records showing separately or split sums for the net surplus (deficit) for Commercial Services split as between “Expressway” and "Commercial Other” and "schools transport" from 2001 to date. Said in another way, records showing precise euro figures in the audit trail or such like records following the cash into the Profit and Loss Accounts, as per the Bus Éireann auditors. I want the figures before and after exceptional items and these exceptional items sums need to be split also between the products. 2 I request records that show that the Minister’s accounting officer has the information for each year from 2001 to 2019 was informed of the sums in part 1 above. Said in another way, the figures are in briefing documents showing the surplus (deficit) by product.3 I request records that show that the accounting officer asked for this information in part 1 from Bus Éireann and obtained this information in the preparation of the Value for Money Review or otherwise.4 I request historic contemporaneous records for the school year 2011/2012 and or for financial years 2010, 2011 and 2012 or records that would apply to the said years in the control of the Minister relating to any financial agreements in respect of the school transport scheme between Bus Éireann and the Minister. The Information 5 I request historic contemporaneous records prior to 2011 referencing what the accounting officer told the C&AG for his report when it said “The Department understands that the accumulated excess funding over cost incurred has been set aside and will be applied by Bus Éireann to meet future costs of school transport operations” A full breakdown of the amounts paid out in personal injury claims by the G.A.A. for the year 2019.
