Following the EU ruling please see the attached from requesting details of the both the current cost and the cots going forward of this development Derrybrien is an ill-advised wind installation resulting in bog slides, destruction of fish habitat and general landscape degradation which will remain open sores (20 years on from the construction of the Derrybrien wind farm, taxpayers are paying daily fines of €15,000 while it looks like the turbines will have to be removed entirely from this site following the refusal of An Bord Pleanála to grant ESB substitute planning permission). Please let me know the total cost of the EU ruling. That is the legal costs, the fine plus how many days at €15,000 are due. As it now seems that the windfarm will now have to be removed please confirm when this is to take place and if the developers or the taxpayer will have to pay for the removal of the windfarm, the costs to stabilize the site and the cost of cleaning up the river after the pollution.
