With reference to the proposed closure of the Eske Fishery, under The Freedom of Information Act 2014, we hereby request the details of what data was used to ascertain closure of said Fishery. A fishery adjacent to The Eske (The Eany Fishery) has been deemed Catch and Release. Both of these fisheries have had full fish counters operational for a long number of years. From the data runs of salmon, that the Eske Angling Association has already obtained, going back some years, as per IFI Counter Data Summary Reports, The Eany is further from its Conservation Limit than The Eske Fishery.
