Minutes of all meetings between the Minister/Department of Defence and European Council, European Commission and Operation Sophia Command representatives in regard to Eunavfor Med (Operation Sophia) which involve discussion of the Irish Navy's role in Operation Sophia, and which inculde specific reference to Irish expertise in maritme search and rescue. 3. All correspondence between the Department of Defence and the European Council, European Commission and Operation Sophia Command in regards to Eunavfor Med (Operation Sophia) in which it is set out/agreed that the Irish Navy is participating in Operation Sophia solely in a humanitarian search and rescue role. 4.
