My freedom of information request is in relation to the Kingscourt regeneration project which is led by Cavan County Council. It was today 25th June 2020 included in the announcement of €13 million in funding for 24 projects across the country under the Rural Regeneration and Development Fund. Kingscourt in Co. Cavan was allocated €787,500 which will go towards the development of a carpark and public realm works in the town. I am requesting freedom of information on: (1) Who made the application on behalf of Cavan County council. (2) Where in Kingscourt is the proposed car park to be located? (3) Is it proposed that said car park will be used as a paid parking facility? (4) What is the estimated price for the construction of said car park? (5) Has full planning permission been granted for this project? (6) What is the projected capacity for said car park?
