- copies of any records relating to the following "oversight" regarding end-January 2018 exchequer returns [as detailed in attached image]:Please note that yesterday's Submission regarding the end- January 2018 Exchequer Returns contained an oversight.I am advised by the Revenue Commissioners that approximately €94 million in relation to January's Exchequer tax revenues was misallocated, between the following tax-heads, Excise Duties and VAT. Excise Duty receipts of €572 million were overstated by €94 million and VAT receipts of €2,351 million were understated by €94 million.I would point out that the misallocation had no effect on the overall January tax figures submitted yesterday.
