Department of Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation

As confirmed in the response to the various PQs (2103/21, 2149/21, 2104/21, 2126/21, 2150/21), the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform says the increased salary of €292,000 is due to increased responsibilities including the COVID vaccine rollout programme. As such I am requesting the following: • All emails, letters and minutes of meetings related to the increased salary of €292,000. • All emails, letters and minutes of meetings related to the reasons the derogation from the salary rules were sought. • All emails, letters and minutes of meetings related to the Minister for Health’s expanded role in the rollout of the vaccine. • The time period for this request is 01/10/2020 to 14/01/2021
