This request refers to the proposed solar farm development by Power Capital Renewable Energy (PCRE), located near Belville, Monivea, Co. Galway, commonly referred to as the “Belville Solar Farm.” This includes any associated grid connection or infrastructure works linked to this development, and any records where the project is referred to under a different internal name or reference. This request also covers any proposed Phase 2 or Phase 3 expansions, whether publicly announced or not, and any Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) or fire safety-related assessments that may involve flood risk or surface water management. Specifically, I request: 1. Flood Risk and Drainage Records Assessments, surveys, or reports regarding flood risk, surface water, or drainage related to the project area. Internal memos, advice, or correspondence concerning potential impacts of the proposed development on flood management or watercourses. Records of recommended mitigation measures or conditions related to flooding or drainage. 2. Correspondence and Engagement Emails, letters, or meeting notes between OPW and the project developer (PCRE) or their representatives. Correspondence between OPW and Galway County Council, ABP, EPA, EirGrid, ESB Networks, or other statutory bodies regarding the project. Internal discussions or advice relating to future phases, BESS/fire safety, or cumulative flood/drainage impacts. 3. Geospatial and Mapping Data Any maps, GIS data, or spatial analyses showing the project area in relation to flood zones, watercourses, drainage infrastructure, or flood risk management measures. Records showing potential constraints, overlays, or mitigation requirements relevant to the project.
