I am making a Freedom of Information Request under the under the Freedom of Information Act 2014. The International Fund for Ireland (IFI) claims to have "robust systems in place to scrutinize project proposals and to ensure that funded projects deliver specific outputs that support and encourage peacebuilding activity". I would like to know exactly systems were in place to scrutinize project proposals relating to the following initiatives and organisations since 2014; - Concerned Residents of Upper Ardoyne - Twaddell/Woodvale Residents' Association - Lower Shankill Community Organisation. - Action for Community Transformation initiative - Twaddell, Ardoyne, Shankill Communities in Transit (TASCIT) - Building Cultural Networks -Teach na Fáilte I would like to know if any measures where taken to analyse accounts provided for projects relating the initiatives/organisations mentioned above such as hiring a forensic accountant. If such measures were taken, what were they? I would like to know if steps were taken to make sure that people involved in terrorism, criminality and and paramilitarism for any dates after 1998 were not involved in managing or organising IFI- funded projects relating to the initiatives/organisations listed above. If such steps were taken, what were they? I would also like to know if any IFI board members were aware that multiple trustees and organisers of the initiatives/organisations mentioned above have been involved in crime/terrorism/paramilitarism since 1998?
