Records created on or after 1 January 2021 relating to communication between the government of Ireland and the Loyalist Communities Council, including correspondence from and to the LCC, meeting minutes which addressed the LCC, emails which addressed the LCC, position papers on the LCC. (a) The so-called Loyalist Communities Council and its chairman David Campbell wrote to An Taoiseach at the start of March 2021 outlining concerns about the Northern Ireland Protocol, and withdrawing support for the 1998 Good Friday Agreement. I am seeking documented correspondence and internal Departmental consideration of the LCC. (b) As part of your search for relevant records, I request that you undertake a search for deleted records on your backup systems and that you confirm such a search was undertaken when providing your substantive response to this Freedom of Information request.
