Under section 84 of the Medical Practitioners Act, 2007, the Medical Council is obliged to inform the Minister of Health of certain matters, relating to the registration and regulation of medical practitioners. I am now seeking copies of all communications made by the Medical Council under section 84, to the Minister. (To be clear this includes all sub sections of section 84.) The time frame I am referring to is from 2018 to 2022. Please note that this information cannot be classed as information obtained in confidence, given that some of the details of the information could, in theory, be entered into the Medical Register, which is publicly available. As such, this does not have the quality of confidential information. Nor can it be considered personal information, for the same reason above. Finally, it cannot be classed as being part of the deliberative process, given that process itself has concluded and it not ongoing.
