Department of Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation Under the Freedom of Information Act 2014, I am seeking access to records held by the Department of Public Expenditure, NDP Delivery and Reform relating to the independent actuarial evaluation of the age-related valuation factors used in determining the capital value of defined-benefit pension entitlements for the purposes of the Standard Fund Threshold (SFT). I am requesting: 1.All correspondence (including emails, letters, memoranda, and meeting minutes) between DPER and the Department of Finance or any other Government Department, agency, or consultant concerning the commissioning, scope, progress, or completion of the independent actuarial review announced by the Minister for Finance in September 2024 following publication of the de Buitléir Report on the Standard Fund Threshold. 2.Any terms of reference, contracts, or briefing material prepared for or provided to the actuarial body or consultant engaged to conduct the evaluation. 3.Any interim, draft, or final reports, presentations, or analyses produced as part of that evaluation. 4.Any internal DPER documentation (including meeting notes or progress updates) regarding the expected completion timeline, reporting arrangements, or follow-up actions arising from the review. 5.Any briefing notes or policy submissions prepared for the Minister or Secretary General concerning possible revision of the age-related valuation factors.
