Within the Cork Metropolitan Area Transport Strategy 2040 document it is stated "The Cork Transport Strategy will evaluate the potential of a Bus Rapid Transit or Light Rail corridor to serve the increased population growth" https://www.nationaltransport.ie/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Cork_Met_Area_Transport_Stategy_web.pdf Under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act, I request access to the following: All records, documentation, reports or correspondence relating to Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and Light Rail Transit (LRT) options for the Cork Metropolitan Area including feasibility studies, appraisals, assessments or evaluations undertaken to compare or assess the suitability of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and Light Rail Transit (LRT) options for the Cork Metropolitan Area. Within the requested reports I ask for specific details such as the initiation and completion dates of each study or evaluation related to these options and the full cost for each study or evaluation related to these options and conclusions drawn.
