The average processing time for inward transfer of sentence applications (under Transfer of Sentenced Persons Act, 1995 and 1997), from receipt by the Irish Prison Service to the Ministerial decision, including the length of time taken by the Chief State Solicitors Office to issue their advices, in the following years: 2012, 2015, 2018 and 2020; and if further information was sought from the sentencing State, the average time taken for sentencing States to provide the necessary information.
