Under the Freedom of Information Act 2014, I wish to request the following: 1. A copy of all records (emails, reports, briefings, meeting minutes, text and WhatsApp messages, Microsoft Teams messages etc.) concerning the decision-making process to bring an inter-State case against the United Kingdom at the European Court of Human Rights regarding the Northern Ireland Troubles (Legacy and Reconciliation) Act 2023 from June 1st 2023 to December 31st 2023; 2. For the period January 1st, 2024 to the present, records of briefing notes, and internal memos and internal policy guidance held by the Department of Foreign Affairs, relating to information on the timeline for the case hearings of Ireland’s inter-State case against the United Kingdom at the European Court of Human Rights regarding the Northern Ireland Troubles (Legacy and Reconciliation) Act 2023.
