1- The number of breeders participating in the breeding programme by Country. 2- The number of breeding animals recorded in the main section of the breeding book by the three classifications/grades namely the 4 classes outlined below • Class 1 - Traditional Herefords (no imported bloodlines) are all horned cattle, so they are recorded by their prefix and unique name, but they also have [*] asterix after their name • Class 2 - All horned cattle are recorded in the herdbook through their prefix and unique name (excluding the Traditional Herefords class 1) • Class 3 - British polled cattle are recorded through their prefix followed by a 3 and then their unique name. • Class 4- All registered polled cattle are recorded through their prefix followed by a 1 and then their unique name (excluding the British Polled class 3) The number of breeding animals and their progeny where Article 18(1) breeder requests were made during 2019, 2020, 2021 , 2022 and 2023 for each of the 4 classes stated above. The number of breeding animals and their progeny where Article 30(1) breeder requests were made during 2019, 2020, 2021 , 2022 and 2023 for each of the 4 classes stated above.
