I am making a Freedom of Information request for the following records: • Full details of all payments to each Councillor – both sitting and former Local Authority Members - broken down by name for the following time periods: • May 1, 2016 to December 31, 2016 • January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017 • January 1, 2018 to May 25, 2018 • The payment details for each named Councillor should include, but not be limited to, the following: • Salary/representational payment • Annual expenses allowance claimed • Expenses incurred attending conferences (broken down by the sum spent on each conference) • Expenses incurred on international travel (broken down by the sum spend on each foreign trip) • Expenses incurred for training or education (please include name of course and education institution in each instance) • Mobile phone allowance • Broadband allowance • Any payments/fees/allowances for membership of Strategic Policy Committees. • Any payments/fees/allowances for membership of Local Community Development Committees • Any payments/allowances/expenses for the Mayor or Cathaoirleach • Any payments/allowances/expenses for the Deputy Mayor or Leas Cathaoirleach • Gratuities paid to former Councillors • Any other form of payment to sitting or former Councillors. For clarity, I am not seeking a simple lump sum figure for the amount paid to all sitting and former councillors, but rather a breakdown of the details of the salaries, expenses and allowances paid to each individual local authority member.
