I am requesting access to records concerning data centre electricity grid management from 1 November 2025 to present. I request: 1. Copies of eSubmissions, briefing or memos to the Minister or Secretary General concerning data centre power allocations, EirGrid 'Amber Alerts', or grid capacity projections; 2. Any spreadsheets, logs, or formal notifications sent to the Department detailing instances where data centres were instructed to curtail power consumption, switch to on-site diesel/secondary backup generation, or activate Demand Side Management protocols; 3. The final versions of any 2026 winter readiness plans, grid emergency scenario models, or inter-departmental working group reports addressing potential blackouts or brownouts linked specifically to data centre energy demands; 4. Formal correspondence or letters exchanged between the Department and data centre operators/industry representative bodies regarding compliance with grid stabilization levies; On 29/06/2026 the request was amended to I am requesting access to records concerning data centre electricity grid management from 1 November 2025 to present.
