• Copies of any representations received by your organisation recommending / asking that you close your account on X (formerly Twitter),and • Copies of any internal notes, memoranda, position papers, submissions, recommendations, or any other record dealing with the issue of continued use, or discontinuation of use, of X. The FOI Act requires applicants to apply for access to specific records. I don't actually want to see any of the representations you may have received - my interest is in knowing how many people have asked or suggested that your organisation stop using X. If you can release a single figure which represents the number of contacts you have had on this issue, that would satisfy this request. I am seeking any single record, or the smallest number of records possible to provide the information sought (the number of representations received). I am not seeking "any and all" such records. I am requesting copies of internal notes, memoranda, etc. Time range for any search from 1st Sep 2024 to 21st Feb 2025 & happy to limit the scope of searches to certain sections / areas, but I think it would be reasonable to include the Minister’s office and the press / public relations / communications / social media unit in your department. (I don’t know your internal structures - I’m happy for you to identify the section most likely to examine any such request and provide a recommendation to the Minister’s office). A six-month time frame for this search would also be acceptable.
