I am requesting any and all records since 1 July 2022 to date, which relate to: • Decisions relating to the cataloguing and/or categorising of all Young Adult non-fiction books, including any re-categorisation of such books from Young Adult to Adult; • Any changes which have been made to such cataloguing procedures, and the decision-making process preceding any such changes; • The process by which readers / library members are permitted to advance to Young Adult borrowing categories (aged 12-14 years and 15-17 years, respectively); • The Data Protection Impact Assessment(s) carried out in relation to any requirement which has been implemented by the Library, whereby staff must obtain written consent from parents before young readers are permitted to be moved up to Young Adult category of borrower (whether in the 12-14 years category or the 15-17 years category). The requested records are to include, but not be limited to: • Meeting minutes, memos, diary entries; • Documents, drafts, policies, guidelines, operating procedures, job aids; • Letters, emails, both internal and to/from external sources.
