Request Reference 25-0111 25-0112 I am submitting this request under the Freedom of Information Act 2014. I seek records covering the period from Journalist Part-Grant January 1, 2019, to December 31, 2024, detailing instances where your Department failed to meet the statutory deadlines for releasing records in response to Freedom of Information (FOI) requests, as prescribed by the FOI Act 2014. Specifically, I request the following: 1) The total number of FOI requests where the Department both: a) failed to release the requested records within 20 working days, as required by Section 13 of the FOI Act 2014 AND b) did not notify the requester of an extension within that same 20-working-day period, as allowed under Section 14 Note that I'm asking about cases in which both a) AND b) conditions apply. The resulting figure should be broken down by year. 2) The total number of FOI requests where the Department released the requested records later than 30 working days, despite notifying the requester of a 10-working-day extension under Section 14, broken down by year. 3) The total number of FOI requests where the Department refused the request under Section 15(1)(f) of the FOI Act 2014, on the grounds that the records were intended to be published within 6 weeks of the request, but then released those records more than 6 weeks after the refusal decision, broken down by year.
