FOI REQUEST: RECORDS SOUGHT FROM TEACHERS EDUCATION SECTIONA Cháirde,I wish to seek certain records under the Freedom of Information Act - the background is outlined hereunder and in the attached Appendix,1. Purpose of FOI RequestThe information sought is required in attempting to:(a) Vindicate my positional, private, legal and constitutional rights.(b) Defend and uphold my right to a good name, personally and professionally.(c) Support my right to conduct a meaningful investigation into matters concerning me, personally and professionally, in accordance with the principles of natural justice, constitutional justice, fairness of process, and equality of arms.(d) Establish the facts, in the public interest.2. Scope of Records SoughtThe information sought relates to the internal records held in the Teachers Education Section and encompass all relevant records, generated, processed and held by that Section, i.e. appertaining to the proposed audit of the Donegal Education Centre (the preliminary stage of which was undertaken by the Internal Audit Unit on 13th April 2005).The internally generated records should include all material initiated, addressed, noted, decided on/directed, forwarded and/or received (including MAC members) - in particular involving Mr Paul Ryan, PO, Mr Barry Conroy, APO, Jennifer Fitzpatrick, HEO - but includes other relevant officer.
