Under the Freedom of Information Act, 2014, I wish to request access to the most recent internal guidelines or policy document issued by your FOI body regarding 1. The use of messaging apps or platforms (such as, but not limited to, SMS text messages, MMS messages, WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, Snapchat, Instagram, Viber, WeChat, Hago, Messenger, BitMessage, Ring, Line, bulk SMS systems), or 2. The retention and archiving of messages sent using messaging platforms, or the transfer of such messages to a central repository with a view to ensuring compliance with FOI requests and data protection SARs.
