​I wish to request the following records in relation to compensation payments made by [Council Name] to members of the public.The total amount of money paid by the council in compensation or settlement payments to members of the public for each of the years 2023, 2024, and to date in 2025.A breakdown of this expenditure by category of claim (for example: personal injury, property damage, public liability, etc.), if such a breakdown is readily available.For each year, the number of claims settled and the number of claims currently outstanding, if recorded. Please note: I am not seeking any personal data or information that would identify individual claimants. Aggregate figures will suffice.
