I am submitting an FOI request for records recording discussions by Minister Michael Martin and the department as to : 1. Whether the state of Taiwan should be given recognition in general terms in view of its history of operating as an independent self-sustaining coherent entity 2. Whether Taiwan should be given recognition given the consideration of and the granting of recognition of the State of Palestine and given Palestine's lack of a history of operating as a coherent independent entity and given Palestine is divided into two unconnected physical geographical areas
