(1) Records created after 1 January 2017 related to new applications for Irish citizenship, or, in the alternative, the total number of people for whom applications for citizenship were received by the Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service in 2017. (2) Records created after 1 January 2017 related to the approval of applications for Irish citizenship received between 1 January 2017 and 31 December 2017, or, in the alternative, the total number of people whose citizenship application in 2017 has been approved (up to June 2018). (3) Records created after 1 January 2017 related to the refusal of applications for Irish citizenship received after 1 January 2017, or, in the alternative, the total number of people whose citizenship application in 2017 has been refused (up to June 2018). (4) Records created after 1 January 2017 related to the granting of Irish citizenship in respect of applications for Irish citizenship received after 1 January 2017, or, in the alternative, the total number of people whose citizenship application in 2017 has been granted (up to June 2018). (5) Records created after 1 January 2017 related to Ministerial approval for the granting of Irish citizenship in respect of applications for Irish citizenship received after 1 January 2017, or, in the alternative, (a) the total number of people whose citizenship application in 2017 has been granted despite not meeting eligibility rules for citizenship (b) the total number of people whose citizenship application in 2017 has declined by the Minister despite meeting eligibility rules for citizenship.
