I am seeking access to records held by the Department of Health relating to communications between: 1. The Department of Health and the World Health Organization (WHO); 2. The Department of Health and Ireland’s WHO National IHR Focal Point (believed to be the Health Protection Surveillance Centre or associated body); and 3. The WHO and Ireland’s WHO National IHR Focal Point, where such records are held by the Department. The timeframe for this request is the 1st of January, 2020, to the 30th of June, 2020, inclusive. Subject matter is as follows: Records relating to any communications between the Department of Health and the World Health Organization (WHO), Ireland’s WHO National IHR Focal Point, and any associated bodies regarding COVID-19 and related public health measures. I request access to all forms of communication including, but not limited to, emails, letters, reports, briefing materials, memos, and meeting records. I would prefer to receive these records in digital format. If this information is available outside the FOI process, I would be happy to receive it informally.
