In accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 2014, I wish to request access to the following: • Copies of all correspondence, from Oct 1st – Dec 31st 2024, between national representative bodies for craft occupations (builders, electricians, plumbers, general construction) and the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment requesting the addition of trade professions to the Critical Skills Occupations List. • Copies of all correspondence between national representative bodies for construction workers and the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment regarding the expansion of the new seasonal employment permit for the horticulture and agriculture sectors to include construction workers (correspondence between Oct 1st – Dec 31st 2024). • Copies of all correspondence between Oct 1st – Dec 31st 2024 from lobby groups calling for an enhanced General Employment Permit for the construction sector.
