Under the Freedom of Information Act 2014, I am requesting the release of any correspondence between Minister of State Michael D'Arcy and insurance companies regarding a plans to introduce legislation that would see insurance companies reveal how much they are paying out to settle compensation claims against businesses. I am also requesting the release of any minutes of any meetings between the junior Minister and insurance companies regarding the same. The date range for the records being sought is from 21 March last year until the present date.
