Office of Public Works I wish to apply under the freedom of information act for all information regarding the acquisition from Dublin City Council of the former Magdalen Laundry institution at Sean McDermott Street and all its lands. This request to include all records of phone conversations, emails, and meetings. I am applying for hard and soft copies of correspondence and details of information meetings with local councillors regarding this disposal to the OPW. All correspondence between OPW and DCC and others and all plans for the future of this site including any proposals for a record of former institutional files and records, any proposal for a memorial, or commemorative garden at this particular site. Also, what consultations if any took place with any individual who is a resident of a residential institution as described in the Ryan Report or any other Government report into such institutions? Further, what if any, consultations took place with the local community? And all information regarding anybody, or group/organisation making representation or engaging with the OPW with regards the development of these lands or any suggestion regarding a site of consciousness, memorial site or library?
