1. All communications between the Department of Transport and the Road safety Authority on the subject of additional funding for the RSA or a revised RSA budget or funding model. 2. All communications between the Department of Transport and the Road safety Authority on the subject of new road safety initiatives, including but not limited to; changes to the penalty point system (and the scale of penalties), and the policing of speeding, mobile phone use and drink driving. 3. All communications between the Department of Transport and the Road safety Authority on the subject of fatal and serious injury collisions involving road users aged under 25. 4. Included within the scope of this query should be any internal Department meeting notes, minutes, and/or briefings for the Minister or Minister of State on this subject and also, any letters to and responses from the RSA, whether by letter, email, meeting minutes, or the note of any telecommunications on this subject. 5. The time period covered by this query is Sept 2nd 2023 and April 18th, 2024.
