I request the following records: ASH Ireland wishes to apply to the Department of Health under the Freedom of Information Act regarding the preliminary legal advice the government has received that suggests Ireland cannot pursue a ‘smokefree generation’ policy as has been suggested in other jurisdictions due to the EU’s Single Market rules and Tobacco Products Directive. We would like to secure copies of all files, including consultation notes, correspondences, minutes, etc, relating to this preliminary legal advice. In particular, we wish to
