Under the Freedom of Information Act, 2014, I wish to request access to - Internal guidelines that were in place in your body on 1 January 2024 regarding approval or authorisation of personal expenditure (expenditure on goods or services to be provided directly to the individual) by the Secretary General or Accounting Officer. Internal guidelines in place on 31 October 2024 regarding the same matter. Any instruction issued since 25 September 2024 to review expenditure approval processes for staff at any grade. The outcome of any such review. A list of all expenditure which was approved solely by a person at Secretary General, Deputy Secretary General or Assistant Secretary General level in 2023 or 2024. I am seeking the smallest number of records possible to provide the information sought - I am not seeking "any and all" such records. My request arises from revelations of poor expenditure approval processes in OPW. I am willing to agree to any change which your FOI body suggests which will minimise work for your organisation and minimise or eliminate charges for me.
