All documents, reports and opinions relating to how Ireland has implemented the requirement for an “effective remedy” in cases of violations of the six EU Directives on procedural rights for suspects and accused persons as set out in the Roadmap of 2009 on: • the right to information which applies across the EU since 2 June 2014; • the right to interpretation and translation which applies across the EU since 27 October 2015; • the right to have a lawyer, which applies across the EU since 27 November 2016; · The right to be presumed innocent and to be present at trial which was due to be transposed in EU Member States by 1 April 2018; • the right to legal aid, which was due to be transposed in EU Member States by 25 May 2019; and • special safeguards for children suspected and accused in criminal proceedings which was due to be transposed in EU Member States by 11 June 2019.
