​Freedom of Information Request – Town Regeneration Plan We request the following information under the Freedom of Information Act 2014. We formally request that we obtain access to the official information to the extent possible consistent with the public interest and the right to privacy of individuals. In particular and to be more specific and to assist you please provide the following information: 1. All information files and records pertaining to the decision making process in arriving at the reduction of parking spaces on the main street Carrick on Suir to include public surveys, methodologies used in the surveys, confirmation as to the involvement of independent organisations from third party auditors to verify the results and interactions with the community, retailers, property owners and proposed business groups. 2. Stakeholders engagement in advocating independent surveys. 3. Public awareness as to attempts made to enhance the creditability and impartiality of public surveys undertaken. 4. Minutes of any meeting in connection with parking on the Main Street, Carrick on Suir. 5. Consultants reports (MWP) and how they derived at the parking proposal under the town regeneration plan. 6. Submissions made in connection with parking on the Main Street and in particular any submission made by the office of the planning regulator for the proposed regeneration. 7. Application form and conditions necessary for the receipt of European funding and compliant documentation to enable drawdown showing that all conditions and compliance measures for funding have been adhered to for the regeneration scheme. 8. The number of spaces removed from the Main Street as part of the covid stictions and the planning obtained for these changes. 9. Any information considered relevant in connection with the reduction of parking on the main street under the town regeneration plan.
