Under the FOI Act, I am seeking the following information: • The total number of vehicles your organisation currently owns or operates • The total number of electric vehicles your organisation currently owns or operates. • The total number of vehicles your organisation currently owns or operates that use telematics. • A copy of the most up-to-date policy or guidance document (or other similar document/advisory/guidance) that covers, underpins, or relates to council decisions over vehicle fleet purchase, and in particular choosing whether those vehicles should be diesel, petrol, electric, hybrid, or use telematics. • A copy of the council’s EV strategy I would prefer to receive this information electronically, preferably in its original formatting. As you are aware, Section 17(4) of the FOI Act allows for a requester to seek “information” of a type that can be easily gathered by a public body, as per the above request. If you would prefer, however, to deal with this request for information under the Access to Information on the Environment (AIE) Regulations, please feel free to do so.
