Department of Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation

All communications, emails and accompanying documentation between the Department of Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation and the NTPF in relation to the NTPF’s notification of its intention to amend/replace the existing Deed of Agreement governing participation in the Nursing Home Support Scheme (“NHSS”) made between the NTPF and nursing home providers; 2. All communications, emails, correspondence, memoranda and accompanying documentation from the NTPF to the Department of Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation notifying the Department of the NTPF’s ultimate decision to amend the Deed of Agreement, and any replies thereto; 3. All attendance notes, memoranda, briefing papers, policy documents, submissions, minutes and any other relevant documentation prepared by or for the Department of Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation in relation to the NTPF's proposed amendments to the Deed of Agreement or the new proposed contract between NTPF and nursing home providers; and All documentation relating to any discussions, meetings or consultations between the Department of Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation, the NTPF, the Health Information and Quality Authority and any other government department concerning the preparation, consideration, approval and finalisation of the proposed new contract. The above request covers a period of 18 months from the date of this letter. Please note that we do not request production of any documentation in relation to the negotiation or agreement of prices with nursing home providers under the existing Deed of Agreement. We ask that you provide a schedule of all Records, to contain details of your decisions in respect of the release of each Record, and the details of any exemptions under the FOI Act that you may choose to rely on if you refuse to release any Records in whole or in part. Please note that we are willing to discharge the costs involved, in accordance with the FOI Act, in the search, retrieval and supply of the requested records.
