Department of Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation Regarding the Civil Service Disciplinary Code 2016, under the Freedom of Information Act 2014, I am seeking a copy of a. any agreements with Unions regarding the appeals process element of the Civil Service Disciplinary Code 2016 with reference to the implications of a successful external appeal for the employment record of employees, b. any advice or guidance provided by your department to other Government Departments (or their Agencies) regarding the outcome of external appeals and the implications of a successful external appeal for the employment record of Civil Servants, c. any advice or guidance provided by your department to other Government Departments (or their Agencies) regarding whether the stages of the disciplinary process are all ‘stand alone’, i.e. indicating, for example, that regardless of the outcome of the external appeal, the initial finding(s) of the process and sanction(s) imposed will stand and remain on record even where an external appeal is successful.
