I wish to request information under the Freedom of Information Act about claims made to the State Claims Agency in relation to healthcare associated infections in Irish hospitals. More specifically, I wish to request the following information for each year between 2013 and 2016: · The number of claims made to the State Claims Agency relating to healthcare associated infections in each year with details of associated infection and hospital location · The amount paid out by the State Claims Agency in relation to serious incidents or deaths relating to healthcare associated infections in hospitals in each year with a breakdown of amounts paid per claim.
