For each, please provide: (i)Any available estimate of how many persons are believed to be posted overseas within Europe from Ireland, whether formally or informally. (ii)Any available data on the number of enquiries from employers regarding potential eligibility of proposed workers for posting, e.g. "before I do the paperwork, do you think this person will be eligible?" (iii)Details of the number of applications/notifications (nr of workers) made to the Department by employers wishing to post workers overseas from Ireland via the A1 scheme. (iv)The number of these applications that were refused, e.g. A1 not issued on decision of the Department, or granted. (v)Reasons given for refusals and numbers of each. (vi)Statistics for number of appeals, formal complaints, or similar made by persons refused, sorted by reason given for refusal and the channels through which these were made. (vii)Grounds for appealing, sorted by reason for refusal and channel. (viii)Number of appeals that were successful i.e. the Department's decision was reversed, sorted by channel, reason for refusal, and grounds for appeal.
