Louth County Council Under the Freedom of Information Act 2014, I request the disclosure of the names of individuals who submitted complaints in any format to Louth County Council, as indicated in the attached record for your convenience. The request is made based on the HSE zero tolerance approach to safeguarding vulnerable adults from any form of abuse as well as LCC acting contrary to duty of responsibility to safety of private citizens in the region. The CE has stated in LCC statutory meetings that she has a duty to protect the corporate body from legal action. C Matthews stated that it is the intention of LCC to 'avoid any litigation' on page 12 of the attached record. However, LCC Executive powers do not extend to the neglect of safety of the public from abuse by individuals who may or may not have used the complaint system to exercise a sustained campaign of harassment at the home and residents of protected category persons. The disclosure of complainant names allows a matter of safety to progress for those affected persons using proper avenues.
