Strategy & Internal Preparedness Date range: 1 January 2024 – present (a) Any current written policy, strategy, framework, or briefing note adopted by the Department on identifying, monitoring, or responding to misinformation/disinformation (including public health misinformation, whether standalone or part of a wider strategy). (b) Any written record listing the names and grades of staff, or the name of any organisational unit, formally assigned responsibility for this function. (c) The most recent staff training material (slide deck, handbook, notes, or equivalent) containing content on misinformation/disinformation, together with the covering email or memo by which it was circulated internally. 2. Participation in the National Counter-Disinformation Strategy (NCDS) Date range: 1 January 2024 – present (a) Any submissions or briefing papers by the Department to the NCDS working group, consultation, or related interdepartmental bodies. (b) Any minutes or agendas (internal or external) in which the NCDS Strategy was discussed. (c) Any terms of reference or governance note for a Counter- Disinformation Oversight Group or similar, where the Department is a participant or intended participant. Please include any such records that were received from other public bodies, if held by the Department, even if not authored by the Department. 3. Third-party Expenditure Date range: 1 January 2023 – present A single spreadsheet or table listing each third-party engagement relating to counter-misinformation, media literacy campaigns, online monitoring, strategy development, or public messaging, containing: 1. Supplier/organisation name; 2. Short description of the services; 3. Contract value (or agreed ceiling price); Contract award date; Procurement route.
