Copy of a review and correspondence submitted to the Department of Health’s Chief Medical Officer (CMO) by the HSE Clinical Lead in Neonatology/Clinical Director of the HSE National Women and Infants Health Programme on the matter of folic acid policy in Ireland, including the issue of food/flour fortification. This review and correspondence were submitted in December 2021. I request the CMO’s substantive response to this correspondence/review.
