Under the Freedom of Information Act, I wish to request the following in relation to all active quarry sites operating in the council's administrative area which have planning permission (or an expired planning permission): •The most up-to-date list of all active quarries with active planning permission; •The most up-to-date list of all active quarries with expired planning permission; •For each quarry, a copy of the record (be it invoice, receipt, council letter, etc) confirming receipt/lodging of a Restoration Bond / surety bond (financial details can be redacted as required) as required as per planning conditions to ensure satisfactory reinstatement of the site following the completion of extraction, or to pay a contribution towards the cost of upgrading or repairing the local road network. 12.02.24 Further refinement received: On consultation with some other councils, I would like to refine my FOI request to the following element only: For each quarry in the Council's most-up-to-date quarry register (as required under Section 261 of the Planning and Development Act), please release a copy of the/a record (be it an invoice, receipt, council letter, etc) confirming receipt/lodging of a Restoration Bond (financial details can be redacted as required) by the quarry operator as required per planning conditions.
