Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine Can I please get a copy of the below documents for a shipment of cattle that left Greenore port for Israel on 16th November in the Ganado Express: • 96 hour weather report • Loading/Preloading report • Health certificates • Masters Confidential Report • Vet report if one was on board Can you please confirm how and where any deceased animals were disposed of. The Final Marine Surveyor report recommends at page 11 that Ganado Express should not depart if the weather forecast predicts winds of Force 6 or greater unless it is able to demonstrate roll periods of greater than 15 seconds. Page 3 of the report says that it was unable to demonstrate this in respect of its voyage from Greenore on 24th December 2022 - the roll period was less than 15 seconds. The final vet report recommends that Ganado Express should not depart if the weather forecast predicts winds of Force 6 or greater as sightings of previous voyages did not demonstrate that the roll period of 15 seconds could be reached. The Ganado Express needs to comply with section 10(4) of the Carriage of Livestock by Sea Regulations 2016 and cannot depart if the weather forecast predicts winds of Force 6 or greater, if it has a roll period of less than 15 seconds. Can I please have a copy of any documentation that demonstrates the Ganado Express has a roll period of greater than 15 seconds?
