Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage

Request for the following: 1. Calculation by or on behalf of the Department of the ‘housing growth requirement figures’, ‘housing supply targets’ and ‘new annual new housing growth targets’ for the Northern and Western Region contained in the ‘NPF Implementation: Housing Growth Requirements Guidelines (July 2025)’, and in particular for: a. County Sligo, b. Sligo Town, and c. County Mayo; and 2. Pro rata distribution amongst the Northern and Western Region of the projected population growth of 150,000 additional people for that region between 2022 – 2040 in accordance with section 2.4 and National Policy Objective 2 and National Policy Objective 3 of ‘Project Ireland 2040: National Planning Framework First Revision (April 2025)’. This should include, but not be limited to: - 3. Internal correspondence and other documents (such as letters, emails, facsimile, SMS, reports, notes, minutes, records, calculations etc.) of the Department or that were prepared on behalf of the Department; and 4. Correspondence and other documents between the Department and any other person, body, company, department, consultants, etc.
